Askina Silnet Plus is a two-sided silicone wound contact layer composed of a knitted fabric coated on both sides with soft silicone. Its unique double-sided silicone design allows secure adherence to surrounding skin while facilitating the use of secondary absorbent dressings. Askina Silnet Plus is suitable for both exuding and non-exuding wounds, as well as areas of fragile or sensitive skin.

The open mesh structure permits exudate to pass through to a secondary dressing, reducing the risk of adhesion to the wound bed, minimizing pain during dressing changes, and helping to prevent maceration.
