Cutimed® Sorbact® Ribbon supports safe, chemical-free infection management by binding bacteria and fungi to help maintain a cleaner wound environment.

The Cutimed® Sorbact® Ribbon is a DACC?-coated, bacteria- and fungi-binding ribbon gauze designed to fill cavities and support effective wound care from the outset. Using Sorbact® Technology, it allows exudate to pass through to a secondary dressing while offering gentle, reliable contact with delicate tissue. It can also be placed in skin folds to help manage fungal infections such as intertrigo.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Supports infection control by binding harmful bacteria through proven Sorbact® Technology.
  • Provides effective fungi reduction to assist treatment of intertrigo and other superficial infections.
  • Enables smooth exudate transfer into a secondary dressing for improved moisture balance.
  • Offers gentle wound filling that conforms to cavities without causing unnecessary trauma.
  • Enhances wound hygiene by removing bacteria, fungi, and endotoxins without chemical agents.
  • Assists management of resistant pathogens using a physical binding mechanism.
