Shower Belt

The Shower Belt is designed to provide extra help to nursing staff and is mainly used on commode chairs when showering. The belt is made from beige nylon reinforced plastic covered material, sewn around a soft foam padding. The belt can be wiped dry between patients. This is to allow any seepage of moisture to fully dry, particularly suitable in humid tropical climates.

Instructions

Place the belt centrally behind the chair and wrap both ends around the frame at the pelvic position on both sides of the chair. The Velcro sections can then be fastened together across the patient’s lap.
