Mepilex® Transfer is a soft, thin exudate transfer layer designed for use as a primary wound contact dressing. It efficiently draws exudate away from the wound and into a secondary absorbent dressing, such as Mesorb® or Mextra® Superabsorbent, helping to maintain an optimal moist wound environment. Its highly conformable structure makes it easy to apply to even the most difficult-to-dress or contoured areas of the body. Thanks to Safetac® technology?the original gentle silicone contact layer?Mepilex Transfer adheres securely to surrounding skin but not to the wound itself, allowing for atraumatic dressing changes and reducing pain for the patient. It also helps seal wound margins to prevent leakage and reduce the risk of maceration.
