OAPL Anti Embolism stockings are designed to support and aid in venous return, recommended for use by every recumbent patient to prevent DVT Prophylaxis. OAPL Anti Embolism stockings are latex free graduated compression, 18mmHg at the ankle, comprising of 76% Nylon, 24% Lycra Spandex. OAPL Anti Embolism stockings should be used with patients with a history of phlebitis or thrombosis or immobile, aged patients suffering venous insufficiency. Also used post-operatively for oedema management. Stocking can be washed or sterilised (Autoclave at 121 degrees) or hand wash in warm water with mild soap and drip dried.
