The Peristeen Plus system with balloon catheter Regular contains everything you need to irrigate your bowels:1 control unit2 regular balloon catheters (can be supplied separately from the system)1 water bag (incl. screw top and temperature indicator)2 straps (1 pack)1 tube1 

Peristeen Plus is an effective alternative to other bowel management methods. 

It can be administered either on your own or with assistance, and enables you to decide when and where you want to empty your bowel. Used routinely, daily or every other day, it can help reduce the physical discomfort and worry that fecal incontinence and constipation bring. 

The balloon catheter helps to creates a seal in the rectum to keep the water in the bowel and is available in two sizes: Regular and Small. When the recommended amount of water is introduced into the bowel, water and stool are emptied into the toilet. 

Peristeen Plus can be used by a wide range of people from children to adults, however the patient must receive thorough instructions from a healthcare professional before using this product.
