PermaFoam Non-Adhesive advanced foam dressing for effective exudate management and optimal healing support.

PermaFoam Non-Adhesive is a highly absorbent foam dressing designed to manage exudate while maintaining a moist wound environment. This promotes autolytic debridement and supports the formation of healthy granulation tissue, helping wounds progress toward healing efficiently. As a non-adhesive dressing, PermaFoam requires a suitable retention tape or bandage to ensure secure placement during use.

The dressing features a dual-layer construction: an absorbent hydrophilic polyurethane foam that draws exudate vertically away from the wound bed, and a soft, flexible, semi-permeable outer layer that is both waterproof and bacteria-resistant. This innovative capillary structure enables rapid vertical wicking of fluid, minimising the risk of maceration at the wound edges and maintaining a clean healing environment. With a fluid retention capacity of approximately 90% under standard compression, PermaFoam is particularly suitable for the management of moderately to highly exuding wounds, including lower leg ulcers of venous aetiology. The dressing can remain in place for 3 to 5 days, depending on wound condition and exudate levels.
